JOENAH SCREENING
If you haven’t seen “Joenah” the anti-bullying film, now is your chance! “Joenah” will be shown at this event which was shot at Stadium High School and supported by Local23 ILWU and the community.
Joenah is a film about a deaf boy who is being harassed and picked on at school by a few boys from the school swim team.
Joenah’s true spirit shines as he takes on these mean kids by entering a community swim meet to swim against the boys.
This film shows how determination and empathy can change the perspective of those around us. This is a family film for everyone. “Great message”- Tacoma News Tribune
